Torqs are the continent crossers that you would love to take on the office commute !

Battery – LG hi-density Lithium Ion (EU Certified) *

After 12 years of exclusively distributing eZee ebikes in NZ, we have jettisoned the brand and offer a superior brand. eZee had so many problems with controllers, water migration into electronics, motor terminals and battery connections, that customer complaints were too much to bear. We frankly have better ebikes to sell and other brands have far surpassed anything that eZee can offer. We still stock the repair parts and battery replacements for eZee. We will provide those with a discount.

5 reviews for Torq Alfine -Discontinued- (by eZee)

  1. “I rode my Torq Alfine last year for 10,000 k’s and did not even have a tyre puncture with those great Marathon Plus tyres”

  2. 5 out of 5

In all honesty I wouldn’t bother with anything but an eZee Kinetic on a trek like this. My bike went through some incredible abuse and had a thousand opportunities to breakdown and leave me in some compromising situations but it held up. Not a single flat tyre or blowout on any of the three bicycles, the motor was completely immersed in fresh and salt water on several creek crossings, the controllor and motor didn’t overheat on some incredible climbs, the brakes stopped me on the way back down. Maurice, (After completing 4100 kilometer, three person, on/off road crossing of Australia.)

  3. “I have ridden my ebike from your company for eight years now and it just now has needed a new part, and you had the part!”

  4. Hi Jace,

I thought you might like to know that at the age of 82 I recently returned home after riding four of the North Island bike trails with friends from Golden Bay. These were the “Rimutaka Cycle Trail”, The “Te Ara Aki – Thermal By Bike”, “The Timber Trail” and the “Hauraki Rail Trail”. Lasts year we rode the “West Coast Wilderness Trail”.

My e Zee Torq performed admirably and made the riding so much easier. The Timber Trail shuttle damaged my saddle and the beautiful green enamel, otherwise the 564 km we rode was trouble free.

My Torq does over 250 km a week and has done well over 20,000km now and still going strong. What sort of mileage would you expect to get out of the bike? Just wondering if I should be planning a replacement at some point, or is it still good for another couple of years.
